Lentil soup
The lentil soup is full of wholesome ingredients like carrots, onions, and more.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 finely chopped medium onion
- 3 chopped cloves garlic
- 2 finely chopped medium carrots
- 2 cups of washed and drained green lentil
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- Crushed black pepper and salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro to garnish
Directions:
In a pan, put oil and sauté the onion and carrot. When softened, add the pulses, with water and spices. Let it simmer for 15 minutes. Your soup is now ready to pack.
