Ziti Casserole with Ground Beef and Mushrooms
Ingredients Required:
- 16 ounces cooked whole grain ziti pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1-pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion.
- 6 ounces sliced mushroom
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 10 ounces of red wine
- 1 can diced tomato
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups feta cheese

How to Prepare
Grease a baking pan and heat it at 350° F. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the ground beef for 5 minutes. Add onion, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook it till the vegetables are tender. Add spaghetti sauce, red wine, and tomatoes. Let it cook while you are stirring it. Add salt and pepper and spread the ziti pasta on the baking dish. Top it up with sauce and then feta cheese and bake it for 20 minutes.
