Caramelized pecan nuts with spinach salad
Ingredients required:
- Half cup halves-pecan
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 6 ounce of fresh baby spinach
- 1 large apple into bite-size pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Half cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
How to prepare:
Put a pan on low heat to melt the butter. Add brown sugar and pecans to it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes while continuously stirring it, till it caramelizes. Spread it on wax paper and let it cool.
Now, take a bowl, toss apples, cheese, pecans, and spinach together. Add vinegar and oil to it. Toss it again to coat everything well. Now spread the caramelized pecans on it.
