Chile-lime salad dressing
This is another five-minute preparation that has only 90 calories per serving. The Chile-lime salad dressing goes best with tacos, shrimps, and bean salads.
Ingredients:
Lemon juice (four tablespoons)
Zest (three teaspoons)
Red wine vinegar (¼ cup)
Soy sauce and honey (one tablespoon each)
Extra virgin olive oil (⅓ cup)
Garlic powder (one teaspoon) or a clove of garlic (finely minced)
Red pepper flakes (½ teaspoon)
Ground cumin (one teaspoon)
Salt (½ teaspoon)
Method:
Put all the ingredients in a jar.
Shake them till all the ingredients are mixed.
Blend this mixture in a blender/food processor to make it smoother.
Place it in a refrigerator, and your dressing will be ready to be served after two hours…the method of making this salad dressing is almost similar to the method of making the low-fat Greek yogurt ranch dressing.
