Spicy guacamole
An easy guacamole recipe to begin with. The ingredients are as follows:
- Two ripe avocados
- Half teaspoon of Kosher salt
- One tablespoon of fresh lime juice
- Two tablespoons of minced red onion
- Two minced serrano chiles, with stems and seeds removed
- Two tablespoons of cilantro, finely chopped
- Freshly grated black pepper
- Half ripe chopped tomato with seeds and pulp removed
How to prepare:
Cut one avocado, remove the flesh and seed. Use a blunt knife to penetrate inside the avocado, scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Place in a bowl. Mash with a fork. Add salt to the avocado with lime juice, and the rest of the ingredients. Add chopped onion, cilantro, black pepper, and chiles. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill to store. Refrigerate till you are ready to serve. Garnish with jicama and serve with tortilla chips.
