Spicy Sprouts Salad
This low fat, plant-based dish is low-carb and protein-rich. It can work wonders for your weight loss regime.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 cups of boiled green gram sprouts.
- One onion chopped finely
- One tomato chopped finely
- One boiled potato chopped finely
- Tamarind and green (both optional)
- Pinch of cumin seeds powder
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder or Green chilies to taste
- 1-2 tablespoons of corn flakes or muesli (optional)
How to prepare:
Make sure the sprouts are boiled till they become soft, but not mushy. Refrigerate the sprouts. Mix all the dry spices in a large bowl and add sprouts. Garnish with coriander leaves and chutney. Sprinkle cornflakes or muesli if required. Mix well. Serve immediately.
