Mini Crab Cakes With Garlic-Chive Sauce
An easy to prepare recipe – it takes only 20 minutes to make 16 cakes. The ingredients required are as follows:
- One package of fresh lump crabmeat
- Three white bread slices (whole grain)
- Half cup of light mayonnaise
- Three thinly sliced green onions
- One teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
- One teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Two lightly beaten large eggs
- Vegetable cooking spray
- Salt to taste
- Garlic-Chive Sauce
- Lemon slices as garnish
This is how it is prepared:
Pick crab meat and remove every any bit of shell. Using a food processor, pulse the bread slices until finely crumbled Stir mayonnaise with the next four ingredients. Stir in breadcrumbs with crab meat. Form them into 16 cakes. Cook the cakes on hot, large griddle coated with cooking spray. Use medium-low heat until golden brown. Season with salt to taste. Serve with Garlic-Chive Sauce. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
