Green teapot salmon with ginger lime sauce
Ingredients required:
- Ten cups of water
- The juice of one or two limes
- Five tablespoons of honey
- Four pieces of freshly chopped ginger and peppercorns
- Salt as per taste
- Four to six tablespoon of loose green tea
- Pieces of salmons
How to prepare:
Boil water and add the juice of one and a half limes to it. Gradually, add honey, ginger, salt, and peppercorns. Boil this mixture over medium-high heat. Let the water simmer for another 10 minutes and let the flavors of the ingredients blend well. At the end, add the green tea along with the salmon pieces and cover it for 6-7 minutes for it to cook properly. Meanwhile, take another pot, heat a half cup of water, adding to the zest of the lime with a teaspoon of honey. Cook this mixture until the liquid is reduced by two thirds. The sauce is now ready. Drizzle it over the salmon before serving.
